I'm currently using a cheap MS keyboard geared toward multimedia accessibility. It's by no means a piece gaming hardware, but it has served me well enough. The ghosting problem I described earlier is starting to frustrate me again though.
The G15 is...not bad, but I have a few complaints about it...
1. The keys are not standard size, they are slightly smaller and I think packed more tightly together. Made it hard for me to get used to typing/coding on.
2. The 2 USB ports on the back are USB 1.1 (at least they were on the two I owned) Not a HUGE deal but come on...really?
3. The ones I had used the fold-up LCD which is not compatible with my desk.
4. The G keys make it too long to fit into my lan box.
I have already ordered the MS keyboard Stuart found. It doesn't even look like retailers have it in stock yet, but hey, when they do I'll be ready!
Well then, please post impressions when you have a chance to break it in. Personally I enjoyed the G15 for its unique attributes. You do have very narrow specifications that you have to fill and seemed to have bad luck when it came to Logitech brand keyboards so by all means! Let us know!
