Well to be fair, they may have indeed been up to no good. It is unfair to say Activision is the villain (though we all know when you get to be like EA or Activision you seem to let quality and servitude go to the wind). This sucks none the less... MW3/ the next CoD best pick up the slack.

How is that complete and total lack of dedicated servers treating you guys?

The game is.....idk, i guess "moody" is the best word I can think of. In the past week it's been real laggy, but for a month before that it was perfect. The new trend is to get the "Disconnected from Steam" error message when you actually AREN'T. About 5-10% of the time you can only play one consecutive game with a particular group of matched players, then the "Game lobby was Closed" message appears and you have to try to find a new one. But in summary, YOU CAN FEEL THE DIFFERENCE between matched and server based games. COD4 is by far more consistent in terms of game smoothness and responsiveness. But when MW2 is running as intended, its just as good. The thing that keeps me coming back is the sheer variety of weapons and perks, it's truly addictive.

MW2 is truly a great game. I cannot wait to LAN it up here in a few weeks!!
